Join us on Wednesday, October 25, at 7pm in the Canfield Casino for the Annual Meeting of the Historical Society, followed by a program titled “A Soldier’s Life at the Battles of Saratoga,” presented by the History Museum’s Executive Director, James Parillo.
After a short business meeting, Parillo will give a talk dressed as an 18th century soldier. He’ll discuss the history of the Battles of Saratoga and examine the difficulties of life as a soldier in the 18th century. Parillo will bring clothing and equipment of both the American and British armies to paint a vivid picture of the soldiers who fought, suffered, and died in the 1700s.
This event is free for members of the History Museum, $10 for the general public. TICKETS HERE.
