The Bemis Height’s Regiment- the 77th New York Volunteers in the Civil War with Chris Carola

The 77th New York Volunteers was called the Bemis Height’s Regiment in honor of the Battles of Saratoga, fought in 1777. The 77th was composed of men from towns mostly located in Saratoga County. Chris Carola will discuss the history of the regiment and the Saratogians who fought with this decorated regiment in the Civil War.
